ADMISSION TO THE IMAGING SPECIALTIES PROGRAM
To be admitted to the Imaging Specialist Program, students must meet one of the requirements listed below:
Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved Associate Degree Program in Radiologic Technology.
Receive credit by articulation. Registered radiologic technologists who do not possess an Associate Degree may receive 50 radiologic technology credit hours by providing documentation of the following requirements:
graduation from a JRCERT approved school of Radiologic Technology
a passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification examination
When both requirements have been met, the Chair of the Department of Radiologic Sciences will formally notify the Office of Admissions & Records and credit will be recorded on the student's transcript for 50 hours of ASU Radiologic Technology courses.
