The Radiologic Sciences Program at Arkansas State University is administered by the Department of Health Professions in the College of Nursing & Health Professions. Currently, the Bachelor of Science degree is granted upon completion of the required hours.

BSRS - Imaging Specialist

Select one area of concentration from:

  •     Cardiovascular - Interventional Technology
  •     Mammography
  •     Computed Tomography

Upon completion of the baccalaureate degree, students should be prepared for the didactic portions of a specialty examination of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in the areas of concentration.  Access to specialty level examinations' clinical competency requirements is achieved through the clinical education requirements, but total completion of these requirements (which may change from time to time) are the responsibility of the student.  Students should check with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists to verify current requirements prior to applying for these examinations.  (The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, 1255 Northland Drive, St. Paul, NM  55120-1155, phone 651-687-0048, www.arrt.org.
