Curriculum

RADIOLOGIC SCIENCES CORE COURSES

All Baccalaureate in Radiologic Sciences students are required to complete the radiologic sciences core courses. These 11 credit hours of courses are designed to give the imaging or therapeutic specialist a core body of knowledge necessary to successfully compete in the radiologic and imaging sciences environment.

The Radiologic Sciences core consists of the following:

RS   3133 Sectional Anatomy 3 hours
RS   3142 Advanced Imaging and Therapy I 2 hours
RS   4112 Radiologic Research Analysis 2 hours
RS   4952 Advanced Pathophysiology I 2 hours
CLS 4212 Interpretation of Lab Data 2 hours
Total Radiologic Sciences Core Courses 11 hours

Radiologic Sciences Support Courses

RS 3122 Legal and Regulatory Environment of Radiology 2 hours
RS 3811 Radiologic Quality Management Administration 1 hour
RS 4962 Advanced Pathophysiology II 2 hours
Total Radiologic Sciences Support Courses 5 hours

Fall Semester

RSN 4313 Nuclear Medicine Procedures I 3 hours
RSN 4213 Nuclear Medicine Physics and Instrumentation 3 hours
RSN 4523 Nuclear Medicine Clinical Education I 3 hours
