Program Information

The Nuclear Medicine Technology major is designed to provide the student with the skills necessary to become a nuclear medicine technologist.  The program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Nuclear Medicine Technology as a consortium arrangement between ASU and Methodist Healthcare School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.  This major is designed to provide the student with the skills necessary to become a nuclear medicine technologist.  To complete the major in this area, students must complete the 46 hours of the program.  No minor is required.  Upon completion of the baccalaureate degree students are prepared to sit for the either of the national examinations in nuclear medicine.
